Giorgio Chiellini’s 33rd Birthday
Today is the 33rd birthday for the Italian and Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini Agen Bola Terpercaya.
Born in Pisa in 1984, Chiellini actually started his football career as a left back in the ranks of the Livorno youth.
After eight appearances in two seasons in Serie C1, the young man was trafficked by Roma on a joint ownership deal.
After making six appearances in the 2002-03 season, Chiellini strengthened his position in the starting XI for the following campaign by making 42 appearances in all competitions and scoring four goals.
That prompted Livorno to buy back half of his contract worth 3 million euros and they immediately benefited by selling it to Juventus for 6.5 million Euros.
Chiellini was not considered ready to compete for a major spot in Turin, so another transfer of ownership made him return to Fiorentina, with the Viola paying 3.5 million euros for half his registration.
In his Serie A debut, the defender continued to impress, scoring three goals as he played in all matches.
That convinced Juve that he was ready to join the squad, and the Bianconeri paid 4.3 million Euros to buy Viola’s stake over Chiellini.
Playing under the care of Fabio Capello, Chiellini made 17 appearances as the Old Lady switched to the Scudetto, but Chiellini suffered the first major setback of his career as the Calciopoli scandal broke that summer, with Juventus relegated to Serie B.
Gianluigi Buffon, Alessandro Del Piero, Pavel Nedved, David Trezeguet and Mauro Camoranesi received the legendary status in Turin by staying at the club.
Now Chiellini becomes a regular international Italian player, having made his debut in 2004, Chiellini became the Bianconeri’s leading defender in subsequent seasons.
When new coach Antonio Conte opted to make a three-man back line with Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Barzagli joining Chiello as a base 3-5-2 system.
The back line to be known as ‘BBC’ is very important in the campaign.
